This healthy sandwich is ideal for breakfast and as a snack. You will certainly enjoy the combination of crispy and fragrant bulgur cake with tender cheese, fruits and blueberries. In addition, there are only 28 calories in one rice cake!
Ingredients:
- Ricotta cheese or soft cottage cheese – 1/2 cup
- Apricot jam – 2 tsp
- Family Harvest™ Bulgur cakes – 4 pcs
- Fresh fruit to choose from: apple, pear, nectarine or peach thinly sliced – 1 cup
- Fresh blueberries – 1 cup
- Cinnamon – optional
Directions:
- In a small bowl, mix cottage cheese and apricot jam.
- Evenly distribute the mix on top of all Family Harvest™ bulgur cakes.
- Top with fruit slices, sprinkle with cinnamon.
- Put 1/4 cup of blueberries on top of each sandwich.
